Communications Mining user guide
Managing your account
This section describes how you can manage your account in Automation Cloud or how to manage your legacy access account.
This section contains information on how to manage your account when accessing the UiPath® IXP service through Automation Cloud.
Once an administrator creates your user profile, log into Automation Cloud to access the platform. Then, select the IXP service from the toolbar, and access the service through single sign-on (SSO).
To sign out of the IXP service, select your user profile, and then select Sign out.
Since your IXP account is linked as a service to a tenant, you can modify your account, for example, name change, remove account, and so on, from the Automation Cloud platform. For more details, check Managing user accounts in Automation Cloud.
If you are signing into the Communications Mining™ platform for the first time, that is, activating your account, check the Getting set up as a Legacy user page for more details.
To access the platform as an existing user, browse your Communications Mining™ URL, and select Sign in.
If you have previously signed into the platform from the same device and browser, you will be redirected to a login screen similar to the one shown in the following screenshot:
If you are already signed in, select Go to [company name].reinfer.io to be redirected to the datasets page. Alternatively, you can directly browse the URL of [company name].reinfer.io.
If you are logged out but have signed in before, select Go to [company name].reinfer.io to be prompted to enter the following details:
- Username or email address
- Password - the password you created.
- 2FA code - the 6-digit code generated for your account in the Google Authenticator app. For details on the setup, check the official Google documentation.
After you enter your details, select Sign in.
The clock on your device might be out of sync. For troubleshooting instructions, check the official Google documentation.
To sign out of the Communications Mining platform, select your user profile, and select Sign out.
Once you receive the password reset email, select the Reset Password button in the email.
Once you set your new password, you are prompted to set up again the Google two-factor authentication for your account. For more details, check Setting up the two-factor authentication.
To change the password for your account, proceed as follows
- Go to the My Account tab, in the Administration section of the Communications Mining™ platform.
- Enter your current password in the Change password field.
- Enter a new password in the next field.
- Enter again the new password in the next field to confirm it.
- Select Save.
