Deleting a dataset

Note: You must have assigned the Dataset - Manage permission as an Automation Cloud™ user, or the Datasets admin permission as a legacy user, to delete datasets.

Similar to updating a dataset, to permanently delete a dataset, choose one of the following options:
  • From the dataset card in the Datasets page.
  • From the Settings page of the individual dataset.

Deleting a dataset from the Datasets page

  1. Access IXP, where the datasets are displayed on the main page.
  2. Select the ellipsis on the dataset you want to delete, and then Delete.
  3. Enter the name of the dataset in the pop-up input box that appears, as shown in the following image:


  4. Enter the dataset name, and select Delete dataset.
    Note: Deleting a dataset is permanent.

Deleting a dataset from the Settings page

  1. Access IXP, and select a dataset from the main page.
  2. Navigate to the Settings tab, which redirects you the Dataset tab.
  3. Select Delete dataset permanently.
  4. Enter the full name of the dataset in the pop-up input box.
  5. Select Delete dataset to confirm deletion.
    Note: Deleting a dataset is permanent.
