Creating defects from results
Create a defect in your integrated external defect management system directly from a test case log.
The defect report that Test Manager creates includes the execution log, and the log links back to the defect.
Prerequisites
- Your external defect management system is integrated with Test Manager. For more information, see Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool integration.
Steps
- Open a test case log.
- Select Tasks.
- Select Create Defect.
Result
After the defect has been created, a link is available in the execution log, so you can access the integrated external tool.
