Platform Units and infrastructure costs become relevant when performance tests are executed via serverless cloud robots, since each robot run consumes Platform Units provided by UiPath’s cloud infrastructure.
For on-premises robots, Platform Units are not needed, but customers must ensure they provision and maintain enough local machines to handle the required test load, which drives their own infrastructure costs.
