Agent tools
Tools an agent can call from within a workflow, including file analysis, batch transformation, and summarization.
This section covers the tools an agent can call from within a workflow. These tools let an agent analyze files, transform data in batches, and summarize content as part of a run.
Each tool reference describes its purpose, inputs, and outputs.
These are the agent tools:
- Analyze Files: analyzes one or more files with a large language model (LLM) to extract or synthesize content, or to answer questions about it.
- Batch Transform: processes a CSV file row by row and adds AI-generated columns.
- Summarize: synthesizes across documents of up to 1,000 pages and returns citations to the source.

- Autonomous Agent: the node that uses these tools.
- Add an AI agent to a workflow: set up an agent step by step.
