Task Mining

Voice input captured by the recording users is converted into a recording containing a summary for each step, based on the actions performed and the voice input provided for the step. These summaries are displayed as a decoded text in the step information panel.
You can play back the voice recording via the audio play bar in the task graph. The related steps are highlighted in the trace, and the decoded voice input summary for the step is displayed. You can download the recording as an .mp4 file. Decoded voice input summary is added when exporting the trace as a Process description document.

The Recording Client version 25.02.0 is now available.

The new Recording Client supports audio capture via voice input.
By default, voice recording is enabled when installing the recorder. Users who do not want to use Audio capture, can manually deselect the Enable audio capture option in the Microphone settings before they start capturing tasks.

Note:When installing the recorder from the command line, you can use the argumentVOICERECORDINGENABLED=0to disable voice recording. Note that this only affects a fresh installation. If the user already enabled Audio capture in the recorder settings in a previously installed version of the recorder, the user will still be able to capture audio.Important:The audio capture is securely transcribed into text. This text is then passed to the Large Language Model (LLM) for summarization. This entire process takes place using a secure AI architecture, including a Trust Layer and an LLM Gateway, to ensure that data privacy and security are maintained.

Download and re-install the Recording Client to make sure you use the latest version of the Recording Client. You can use the download link from your original invitation email to download the installer.
The Recording Client version 25.02.0 can only be used for Task Mining in Automation Cloud™.
