Maestro Orchestrate coordinates AI agents, robots, and people across end-to-end business processes, with governance, human-in-the-loop steps, and process optimization.
UiPath Maestro Orchestrate™ orchestrates AI agents, robots, and people across end-to-end business processes.
It coordinates the work of agents, robots, and people in one process, with governance, human-in-the-loop steps, and process optimization built in.

What Maestro Orchestrate delivers
-
End-to-end processes: orchestrate complete processes across apps and data, from the first event to the outcome.
-
Safety and trust: guardrails, policies, testing, and human-in-the-loop steps where a person must decide.
-
Faster building: reusable workflows, low-code and pro-code options, and integrations through APIs and connectors.
-
Scale and reliability: elastic execution, handoffs and retries that recover from failures, and control based on service-level agreements (SLAs).
-
Visibility and improvement: real-time telemetry and process intelligence that show where processes slow down.
Orchestration and task automation
Task automation runs individual steps, such as an RPA workflow that enters an invoice. Maestro Orchestrate coordinates those steps into a whole process: it decides what runs next, waits for people and events, handles exceptions, and keeps the record of every instance.
On the Case, Flow, and BPMN canvases, with support for Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) 2.0 and Decision Model and Notation (DMN), a process combines modeling, decision logic, and control of live instances. It includes live instance management, routing, exception handling, and SLA tracking.
AI agents in a process can start RPA robots, hand decisions to a person when needed, and adapt to changes based on process intelligence. For long-running, exception-heavy work, Case lets the path evolve as new information arrives. Choosing a canvas compares the canvases.
For short-running workflows, where AI agents and APIs work together and each run finishes within 24 hours, Maestro Automate fits better. Maestro Orchestrate or Maestro Automate? compares the two products.
