Queue trigger
Start a workflow each time a work item is added to a queue.
The Queue trigger starts a workflow when a work item is added to a queue. A queue holds work items that one automation adds and another picks up, so this trigger lets a workflow pick up work that robots, other workflows, or other apps put there.
Set it up
- Select the trigger on the canvas, then select Queue trigger in the Change trigger list.
- In Queue, select the queue to watch.
- Optionally, under Input arguments, select Add input argument for values that other nodes read under
$vars.<node ID>.output, for example$vars.queueTrigger1.output.
Each queue can start only one workflow. Queue triggers describes how queue triggers work.
