Licensing
Maestro Orchestrate licensing options in Automation Cloud, with links to Unified Pricing and Flex Plan details based on your organization's pricing model.
Maestro Orchestrate licensing depends on your organization's pricing model in Automation Cloud.
UiPath offers two pricing models:
Maestro Orchestrate covers Case, Flow, and BPMN.
License types required for Maestro Orchestrate (all plans)
Regardless of pricing model, Maestro Orchestrate requires a combination of:
| License type | Description |
|---|---|
| Platform license | Grants access to Maestro Orchestrate services and features within Automation Cloud. |
| User license | Determines which features a user can access. |
| Consumption license | Covers usage-based activities such as process execution and decision evaluation. |
The specific entitlements, limits, and consumption units depend on whether you are on Unified Pricing or Flex Plan.
The same Maestro Orchestrate licensing applies to Case, Flow, and BPMN processes. Work that runs inside a Maestro Orchestrate instance consumes the native consumables of the task types used.
A debug run does not consume Agent Units or Platform Units for process execution. Any services the debug run calls, such as AI agents or document processing, consume their own units as usual.
Using Process Mining with Maestro Orchestrate
Process Mining capabilities can be used together with Maestro Orchestrate under both Unified Pricing and Flex plans.
Licensing depends on whether you use only Maestro Orchestrate-generated data or extend your analysis with external data sources.
Maestro Orchestrate-generated data
- Included at no additional cost.
- You can create and edit Process Mining Apps when they use only Maestro Orchestrate-generated data.
- No additional AI Units are consumed.
- No minimum Process Mining license prerequisites apply.
- You must activate the Process Mining service in your tenant.
Maestro Orchestrate + external data
- A free allowance of 10,000 events is included.
- After the allowance is exceeded, standard Process Mining licensing applies.
- This may include AI Unit consumption and other prerequisites.
