Comparing performance results
Compare load groups side by side within the same scenario run using overlayed charts for HTTP response time, error rates, CPU, and memory usage.
Overlay the results of several load groups in one scenario run to see how one workload affects another.
Steps
-
Toggle on the Compare option.
-
Select which load groups to include in the comparison.
Note:Comparison is available both within the same scenario run and across historical runs of the same scenario.
-
Interpret the results.
- Color coding: Each selected load group is highlighted with its own color. These colors are applied consistently across all charts, making it easy to distinguish results.
- Overlayed charts: Metrics such as HTTP response time, error rates, automation step duration, CPU, and memory usage are displayed in overlayed graphs, so you can directly see how one group’s behavior correlates with another.
- Use cases: This feature helps identify interaction effects—such as whether an API load spike slows down a web transaction flow or if concurrent processes compete for the same resources.
Result
The selected load groups are displayed side by side with color-coded, overlayed charts. You can identify interaction effects and performance differences between workloads within the same scenario run.
