Creating requirements
Create requirements in a Test Manager project to define the conditions your test cases must validate.
You create requirements from the Requirements page under Test Design.
Steps
-
In the Test Design menu, navigate to the Requirements page.
-
Select Create Requirement. The Create Requirement window is displayed.
-
Fill in the fields accordingly:
- Name - The name for your requirement.
- Description - (Optional) Add and format a description using the rich-text editor.
- Optionally, add any number object labels.
-
Select Create.
Result
The new requirement is displayed on the Requirements page. The new requirement opens for editing, where you can add or edit rich-text content, labels, custom fields, and attachments.
