Use case scenarios
This section outlines how to use UiPath® with the SAP Solution Manager integration.
You can choose from the following use case scenarios:
In this scenario, you can learn how to create a test configuration in SAP Solution Manager, create a test case in Studio, and deploy a newly created process to Orchestrator.
To create test configuration and test cases, follow these procedures:
To prepare for the test case creation, you need to create a test configuration for your business process.
Once the test case creation is finished, you need to publish it to Orchestrator. For more information, see Publish Test Cases.
For the last step, you need to assign the previously created process to your execution environment.
In this scenario, you can learn how to execute test cases in Solution Manage and view test results within SAP Solution Manager and Test Manager.
To execute test cases, make sure you have created and configured a test configuration in Solution Manager. For more information see Creating Test Cases.
To stop this process, click Cancel Execution and choose one of the following options:
- Wait until current test case execution is finished to stop after the current execution is completed.
-
Immediately return to SAP Solution Manager to cancel the execution immediately and return to Solution Manager.
In this scenario, you can learn how to use the input and output parameters to provide execution data between different scripts, and test parameters with test variants.
To create define test parameters and add test data variations, follow these procedures:
To provide execution data between different scripts, you can define test parameters in Studio. For example, your test case contains Material Number and Quantity, and you want to test the Sales Order creation for different materials and quantities.
