Share a Studio Web solution with other users from the solution backstage or the My Automations context menu, and stop sharing when access is no longer needed.
You can share a solution so other users can open and work with the automation it contains. Sharing is available from two places that open the same Share dialog: the Manage access button in the Collaborators panel of the solution backstage, and the Share option in the solution's ⋯ (More) menu in My Automations.
Sharing a solution shares only the automation. Private information such as connections is not shared, so each user configures their own connections. Anyone with access to a solution can re-share it.
Share a solution
- Do one of the following:
- In My Automations, select the ⋯ (More) menu for the solution, then select Share.
- In the solution backstage, select Manage access in the Collaborators panel.
- In the Share with field, enter a name or email address, then choose a user or group from the suggestions.
- Select Save.
The solution is shared with the selected users and groups. Shared users can open it from their own My Automations, where the solution owner is shown alongside the solution.
Stop sharing a solution
- Open the Share dialog using either entry point from Share a solution.
- Select the remove icon next to each user or group you want to remove.
- Select Save.
The removed users and groups can no longer access the solution.
