License-tier sizing of the AI and Agentic usage pool for Autopilot, Delegate, and Cartographer, and why all three pause instead of falling back to paid units.
Autopilot, Delegate, and Cartographer draw from the AI and Agentic usage pool the same way: the monthly limit scales by license tier using the same multipliers, and all three pause instead of falling back to paid units once the limit and any top-up are spent. This page documents the model these three entities share. For the general pool mechanism, including top-ups and the consumption chain, refer to AI and Agentic usage pool.
Monthly limit by license tier
The monthly limit for Autopilot, Delegate, and Cartographer scales from one baseline license tier, sized differently depending on your licensing model.
Unified Pricing
Under Unified Pricing, the Basic quota equals the monthly usage assigned to a Basic user license. Enterprise plan user licenses receive a pool proportional to that baseline.
| Plan | User license | Monthly usage pool |
|---|---|---|
| Community, Basic, Basic Trial, Enterprise Trial | Any | Basic |
| Enterprise | Plus, App Tester | 7x Basic |
| Enterprise | Pro, App Test Developer | 20x Basic |
Flex
Under Flex licensing, the Cloud Basic quota equals the monthly usage assigned to a Cloud Basic User license. Enterprise plan user licenses receive a pool proportional to that baseline.
| Plan | User license | Monthly usage pool |
|---|---|---|
| Community, Enterprise Trial | Any | Cloud Basic |
| Enterprise | Attended User, Citizen Developer, Tester User | 7x Cloud Basic |
| Enterprise | Automation Developer | 20x Cloud Basic |
No paid-unit fallback
Autopilot, Delegate, and Cartographer are the only AI and Agentic usage pool products that do not fall back to paid units. Every other pool product continues running on paid units once the monthly limit and any top-up are spent; Autopilot, Delegate, and Cartographer pause instead, until an administrator grants a top-up or the monthly limit resets.
For the procedures, refer to Requesting AI and Agentic usage top-ups and Granting AI and Agentic usage top-ups.
