Exporting data
Export Test Manager data in XLSX format for all test objects or PDF format for individual test executions.
Export Test Manager data so you can merge it with other data or analyze trends using spreadsheet features, or through your reporting tools.
Context
- The export includes all entries from all pages.
- Filtering the data before exporting it helps you extract relevant information.
- The files are automatically downloaded to your default downloads location.
- The naming convention includes the following components in this particular order:
[project][object type][date time].xlsx/.pdf(for example:DOCS-TestResults-2024-12-04_17-12-09-715.xlsxorDOCS-TestResults-2024-12-04_17-12-09-715.pdf).
For details about the structure and content of the exported files, see Exported data format.
Steps
- Open Requirements, Test Cases, or Execution, or open a specific execution log.
- Choose the relevant option based on your current section:
- If you are in the Requirements or Test Cases sections, select Export to Excel.
- If you are in the Execution section, you can choose Export to Excel to export all test executions, or open a particular test execution and select Export to PDF.
Result
The data is exported and the file is automatically downloaded to your default downloads location in XLSX or PDF format.
