We are pleased to announce the general availability of UiPath Studio Web. The latest member of the Studio family brings automation design to the cloud, enabling you to build cross-platform automations for online apps and services.

With Studio Web, automation is easier than ever. You don't need to worry about installing or updating anything, just go to studio.uipath.com in your web browser and start automating. You can use Studio Web for every step of the automation process - design, test, publish, and manage your automations and connections. By default, automations run on already provisioned serverless robots.

Studio Web is perfect for anyone new to automation. It is easy to use, it requires no programming skills, and the first-run experience and built-in templates help you get started quickly. Collaboration is important, so you can work together by sharing automations with your colleagues or the COE.

Studio Web is compatible with Studio and StudioX, enabling users to work and collaborate on cross-platform automations in the Studio of their choice. Even though it is not required, you can always use the expression editor to add code to your automations.

With Studio Web you can:

  • Automate workflows across online applications and services.
  • Use triggers to configure your automations to start when specific events occur.
  • Extract data from documents such as invoices and expense reports using predefined models, and add manual validation in Action Center to the workflow using Document Understanding.
  • Interact with web applications using browser-based UI Automation. You can automate authentication, extracting data, navigating to different pages, filling out forms, and more. If you want to see what the robot is doing and even take control, you can use the live streaming and remote control options.

No license is required to use Studio Web. There are limits to the robot units available per user for debugging and running automations. For more information, see Licensing.

See Activities reference to find out more about the activities currently available in Studio Web. We are constantly working on adding new activities, so many more are on the way.
