Process-level dashboard

The process-level dashboards provide useful metrics for each process.

Filters

Filter the information from the dashboard based on the following:
  • Version: allows you to choose the version of the project for which you want to visualize data.
  • Date range: allows you to choose the time period for which the information is displayed.
  • Status: allows you to filter the information based on the following project statuses, divided by active and inactive instances:
    • Active instances:
      • Running
      • Paused
      • Faulted
    • Inactive instances:
      • Cancelled
      • Completed
  • All filters: provides a more user-friendly filtering experience, only displaying the available filtering options for your project.
In addition to the regular filter, the All filters view offers you the option to filter by:
    • Element: Select specific elements from the diagram, and the view will use this filter to show only relevant data.
    • Variable: This option allows you to do some advanced filtering according to variables.

From the Monitoring tab, select the Configure filtering button from the top of the screen.

      1. Select the Variable text box.
      2. Select specific variables from the canvas, and choose Select. This will open the Variable filter builder.
      3. From the drop-down menu at the top of the Variable filter builder, select whether you want all the conditions to be met.
      4. In the first column you can add several filters and choose from the drop-down menus that contain all the variables you selected at step 1.
      5. In the second column, based on the type of variable, you get filtering suggestions like equals, contains, starts with, ends with, not equal, is null, is not null.
      6. In the third column, choose the text you want to be filtered.
      Note:
      • Only variables which have been configured for filtering will appear in the filter builder. Configuring variables for filtering defines how variables can be used for search, filtering, and instance management visibility. Variables that are not configured as searchable will not be available for filtering.
      • Once you configure the filtering, only instances that run after enablement will support variable filtering.
      • The Variable filters are off by default, and you have to select them to become active. Contrary to the other filters, which are temporary, the Variable filters persist from the selection moment forward, until they are de-selected.

Metrics

Table 1. Process-level dashboard metrics
TileDescription
Incidents count per Week/MonthEvery error in your process triggers the creation of an incident. This tile illustrates the total number of incidents per week or month, depending on the selected value from the drop-down list.
Completed instances per Week/MonthThe total number of completed instances per week or month, depending on the selected value from the drop-down list. See how many processes you are executing and whether that count is going up or down.
Top 10 faulted elementsThe 10 agentic processes published from Maestro elements with the most failures. The information is displayed in the form of a table with additional information:
  • Faulted elements: the name of the element that failed.
  • Count: the number of failures for the specific element.
Top 10 elements by longest durationThe 10 agentic processes published from Maestro elements with the longest running duration. The information is displayed in the form of a table with additional information:
  • Element: the name of the element.
  • Duration: the time the element ran.
Average duration for inactive instancesThe average run time for inactive instances. The information is also split by the instance status.
Top 10 outliers by durationThe 10 agentic processes published from Maestro elements with the longest running duration. The information is displayed in the form of a table with additional information:
  • Element: the name of the element.
  • Actual Duration: the time the element was actually running.
  • Average: the average time the element was running.
  • Deviation: The difference between the time the element was actually running and the average time.
