Healing Agent user guide
Before starting setup procedures, ensure you meet the Healing Agent Prerequisites.
You can also filter Healing Agent features at the activity level, for each individual activity:
-
Disabled—Disables Healing Agent.
-
Inherit job settings—Inherits all settings from Orchestrator.
-
Recommendation only—Healing Agent only provides recommendations, and does not heal the automation.
-
Same as app/browser—Inherits the AppCard settings.
If you disable all settings in Orchestrator, modifying settings at the activity level does not affect Healing Agent.

If you have not done so already, update to version 25.10.2 or later of the UIAutomation.Activities package.
-
Optionally, we recommend you enable the Verify Execution feature, as Healing Agent relies on this feature for input actions.
In addition, if you have any activities that are not connected to Orchestrator, use the Synchronize Object Repository feature at this time to add all activities to Orchestrator.

You can configure self-healing independently at this time, across both the process and job levels.
Note:If you do not activate self-healing, Healing Agent only provides detailed debug information and limited recommendations, and does not take any autonomous actions.
-
Create a new job based on the process you published in step 4.
-
-
Run your job.
-
To check the job results, select Job Details, then select Healing Agent.
The Healing Agent panel displays only if the job involved at least one recommendation or healed action.

If you use Studio 2025.10 or later, you can leverage Autopilot to automatically analyze Healing Agent debug suggestions for jobs executed of the currently open project.
Based on your tenant connection status between Studio and Orchestrator, take the steps that match your case from the following two options:
- Option 1: If your Studio and Orchestrator accounts are connected to the same tenant where the jobs were executed, Autopilot automatically analyzes Healing Agent debug suggestions without any manual input. If this is your case, take the following steps:
-
Go to Studio and open an existing project or create a new one.
Note: Ensure you log in to Studio and Orchestrator with the same account as where you publish and run your project. -
In the Autopilot panel, select one of the following preset prompts, Load Healing Agent data from file or Analyze Healing Agent execution data, or insert your own prompt when interacting with Autopilot.
- Once the Runtime healing data report is displayed, you can manually expand all affected activities and select Apply to implement the suggested changes.
- Option 2: If your Studio and Orchestrator accounts are not connected to the same tenant where the jobs were executed, you can manually download the Healing Agent debug file from Orchestrator and import it in Studio. If this is your case, take the following steps:
- Go to Orchestrator.
-
In the Jobs view, select Job Details, then select Healing Agent.
The Healing Agent panel displays only if the job involved at least one recommendation or healed action.
- Select Download the debug file.
- Go to Studio and open existing project for which you downloaded the debug file..
- In the Autopilot panel, select one of the following preset prompts, Load Healing Agent data from file or Analyze Healing Agent execution data, or insert your own prompt when interacting with Autopilot, such as "Import debug ZIP file".
- Once the Runtime healing data report is displayed, you can manually expand all affected activities and select Apply to implement the suggested changes.
