Actions dashboards
Actions dashboards are a detailed graphical representation of your actions within a certain tenant, that you create within Insights. Insights allows you to visualize and analyze business metrics related to actions. For example, within your actions dashboards you can choose to view a summary of your pending actions.
If you have View roles for Insights dashboards you also have access to aggregated data across Orchestrator folders. But, as an Insights Admin user, you can limit this access, from the settings in Manage Access.
Insights imports task information from Action Center for dashboard visualization. As an Action Center admin, you need to activate the connection between Insights and Action Center.
- Open Action Center, and go to Admin Settings.
- Under Admin Settings, select Tenant.
This ensures the dashboards reflects the action data for the entire tenant.
- Within Tenant, navigate to Preferences.
- Turn on the Insights connection toggle to enable the creation of actions dashboards in Insights.
- Enable actions dashboards in Action Center.
- Select the link to the insights within your tenant.
This directs you to Insights, in UiPath Templates.
Note: To view templates, you need the Viewer role in Insights. - Select the Actions template.
This template provides an overall summary of your Actions, including details like completed, and pending actions, as well as average completion or pending time. You can also filter the summary as you desire.
To check the information that the template provides, visit Actions template.
If you prefer to create a dashboard from scratch, visit Working with Insights dashboards to learn how to customize dashboards using Insights.
