Test Manager user guide
Last updated May 5, 2025
Prerequisites
To start using the Heatmap and Change Impact Analysis, you need to install the UiPath SAP AddOn. The SAP AddOn installation file contains two folders:
- For SAP S/4HANA: The folder contains packages for standard SAP S/4HANA, and a specific package for SAP CAR (SAP Customer Activity Repository).
- For SAP
ECC: The folder contains packages for the
following supported SAP Netweaver Kernel Versions:
- 7.40
- 7.50
In each folder you can find a UiPath AddOn as a SAP Transport Request which you import into your SAP system: one for Heatmap, and one for Change Impact Analysis.
Steps
- Download the file and install it on your SAP system.
- Assign the
S_RFCACL
authorization object to the SAP communication user. - Reach out to your SAP System Administrator to install the UiPath® SAP AddOn and verify the authorization.
There are three installation scenarios that you can deploy:
- If you want to use the Heatmap, and you have an RFC connection with your SAP instance, you must import the SAP Transport Request for Heatmap into your SAP system.
- If you want to use the Heatmap, but you do not have an RFC connection with your SAP instance, and you want to connect using the CSV file, you must install the UiPath custom program.
- If you want to use both Heatmap and Change Impact Analysis, you must import both SAP Transport Requests into your SAP system.
Note: All objects from the installation transports are
imported into a separate namespace, called
/UIPATH/
.
To
generate the Heatmap for your SAP system, perform the main following
steps:
- Download and install UiPath® SAP AddOn on your SAP system.
- Use Test Manager to connect using one of the following methods:
