Test Cloud release notes

Organization administrators can now manage federated identity credentials for OAuth external applications using a new set of API endpoints. Federated credentials let an external application authenticate to UiPath using a JSON Web Token (JWT) issued by a third-party identity provider - such as GitHub Actions, Azure Managed Identity, or any OpenID Connect-compatible provider - without requiring a client secret.

Each OAuth external application supports up to 20 federated credentials, each defined by an issuer URL, audience, and subject claim. When an application presents a valid JWT that matches these claims, UiPath issues a UiPath access token using the standard client_credentials grant.

UiPath is proactively reaching out to organizations whose data may not be in their intended region. If your organization is affected, a Confirm Region Settings panel now appears in the Admin area of your cloud organization. This panel lets organization administrators review and confirm the intended data region for their organization and each tenant.

This feature is gradually rolling out to all enterprise customers over several months.

Submitting the form does not trigger any immediate changes, migrations, or downtime. After you submit your preferences, the UiPath team reviews the response and coordinates any required migration steps with you directly.

Test Cloud now automatically deletes dormant community organizations to maintain compliance with data retention policies and keep the platform efficient. If an organization has a community license and no login activity for 90 days, it is scheduled for deletion. Organization administrators receive email reminders 60, 30, and 7 days before the deletion date and can prevent the deletion by logging in. After deletion, the organization can be recovered within 7 days.

Following our previous announcements regarding outbound IP range updates, the transition for Test Cloud Portal outbound IP ranges used for Customer-Managed Keys (CMKs) has been temporarily paused.

For Test Cloud Portal, the existing and upcoming outbound IP ranges will continue to coexist until at least June 2026. The gradual replacement of existing IP ranges with the upcoming ones will begin approximately after this date, after additional assessments are completed.

During this coexistence period, you must ensure that both the existing and the upcoming outbound IP ranges are allowed in your firewall configuration. This is required to maintain uninterrupted CMK functionality and to prepare for the upcoming transition.

This pause applies only to Test Cloud Portal CMK outbound IP ranges. The previously announced outbound IP changes for all other UiPath services remain unchanged.

Organization administrators can now change the tenant region directly from the Admin portal at Admin > Tenant > Change tenant region, without raising a support ticket with UiPath.

Note: For United Arab Emirates tenants, changing their region still requires a support ticket with UiPath Support.

You can now bring your own LLM configuration for Autopilot through the AI Trust Layer. Go to the LLM configurations tab to replace models or UiPath-managed subscriptions with your own. For detailed configuration steps, refer to Configuring LLMs.

Organization administrators can now delegate identity management tasks to non-admin users through a new custom organization-level role. When assigned, this role lets users manage user accounts, robot accounts, and local groups at the organization level without granting full organization administrator rights. The role supports granular CRUD permissions per resource type and includes built-in elevation-of-rights protections: users with this role cannot modify the Administratorsgroup or interact with existing organization administrator accounts.

UI Automation now supports a bring-your-own-model (BYOM) setup approach for Semantic selectors, replacing your UiPath-managed subscriptions with your own LLM through the AI Trust Layer.
