Deprecation of the Unassisted Task Mining feature

Unassisted Task Mining has been deprecated and will be removed a little over a year from now, on December 1st, 2025.

We will publish additional notifications closer to the official removal date of the feature. In the meantime, you can continue to use Unassisted Task Mining as you do today. Before the Unassisted Task Mining feature is removed, we recommend you retain an offline copy of your collected data by exporting your results to CSV.

Our recommendation for an alternative is to use the other experiences of UiPath Task Mining which allow you to capture known tasks and merge them into a comprehensive picture of the workflow. Check out Introduction to Task Mining for more information on use cases and benefits of UiPath Task Mining.

UiPath continues to invest in our broader vision of process discovery and understanding and we will continue to deliver solutions to help you understand your processes holistically by reasoning over process data from systems and human activity data for tasks performed within the context of your processes. We encourage you to consider adoption of UiPath Process Mining to help bring visibility to your organization’s processes. If your organization is interested in learning more about Process Mining, indicate your interest on the Ask a Question page of our Insider Portal. This will add you to a list of customers/partners that will receive feature and release updates directly from the product team.
