Orchestrator user guide
Managing Your Licenses
linkFor Orchestrator services residing in UiPath standalone product installations, license management is performed in the portal. There are, however, several license management operations that can be performed in Orchestrator.
The information from this page is only applicable for Orchestrator licensing. For more information on licensing, check the page from the admin guide.
Displaying License Details
link- Click Tenant > License. The License page is displayed.
-
Click the corresponding See More button for the desired license
type.
Note:
- Some machines have a service username, while others do not. These
are the scenarios:
- Service username column empty - The robot service is installed in service mode.
- Service username column filled in - The robot service is installed in user mode, and it runs under the Windows identity.
- Some service username machines might still be displayed in the license details window despite not being active. These are remnants of an identity that used to consume an Unattended Robot license, and are not cleaned up automatically. This occurs because you can have multiple robot services running on the same host machine, each under a different user identity.
- Some machines have a service username, while others do not. These
are the scenarios:
Viewing Robots
It is possible to see all the Robots defined on a given machine for Unattended, NonProduction, Testing licenses, or with a specific user for Attended and Citizen Developer licenses. To display this information, perform the following steps:
- On the License page, click See More for the type of license that interests you. The corresponding page is displayed.
- Click the More Actions button next to a user or machine and select View Robots. The Robots page is displayed, filtered to display only the Robots that have the indicated user or machine.
Enabling/Disabling a Machine
linkOnly available for Unattended and NonProduction-purposed machines. Disable a machine to prevent instant license consumption. Enable a disabled machine in order to be able to use Studio and/or the Robot. More details here.
- In the License page, click See More for the type of license that interests you (Unattended or NonProduction). The corresponding page is displayed.
- Turn off the toggle in the Active column. A dialog is displayed asking for confirmation on disabling the machine.
- Click Yes. The machine is disabled.
- Turn on the toggle to enable the machine.
Keep in mind that you cannot disable a machine as long as Robots on that machine are still running.
