Data Fabric release notes
Last updated Oct 31, 2025
Field-level encryption
Data Fabric now supports field-level encryption. This allows you to encrypt sensitive data by either using UiPath®-managed keys, or Customer-Managed Keys (CMK), supporting compliance with enterprise security, and regulatory standards.
You can encrypt local fields in a Data Fabric entity by enabling the Encrypt Data checkbox in the Advanced options panel of a Text, or Multi-line Text field.
Note:

                  - Encryption is currently available only for Text and Multi-line Text local fields.
 - If you decide to use filed-level encryption, the Sort option becomes unavailable for the fields you encrypt. The following filter options remain available: Contains, Not contains, Equal, Not equal, Null, Not null).
 - You cannot edit an already encrypted field.
 - You cannot change fields from non-encrypted to encrypted.
 - Encrypted fields might cause performance issues when retrieving data in activities and APIs.
