Export data

Export Test Manager data so you can merge it with other data or analyze trends using spreadsheet features, or through your reporting tools.

Exported data

The export results can either be in XLSX format for all test objects or in PDF format exclusively for individual test executions. Check the following table for the list of objects included in the export file.

XLSX and PDF format:
  • Execution overview – Offers a comprehensive view of the test execution. It displays details such as the result summary, execution type, duration, reporting date, parent test set, if the order was enforced, the report generation date, and the user who executed the test.
  • Assertions – Offers details on each test case log along with their successful or unsuccessful assertions.
    • For manual test cases, each test step is a verification and the tester's comment is the message.
    • For automated test cases, the name and message from the automation are displayed. Additionally, screenshots are included: as hyperlinks in XLSX files, and represented by a screenshot icon next to the assertion name in PDF files. When you select the hyperlink or the screenshot icon, you are redirected to the Assertions section of that specific test case log.
  • Test case logs – Displays information about the executing user, the type of execution, and the source package.
  • Requirements – Indicates the number of test cases assigned to a requirement and the results of those test cases.
