About Salesforce Automation
Salesforce is a web-based cloud service that provides customer relationship management services, as well as a complementary suite of enterprise application focused on customer service, marketing automation, analytics, and application development.
The entire range of activities from the UI Automation activity package can be used for this purpose. To create automation processes with the UIAutomation activities pack, you are not required to install any additional extensions.
Salesforce UI automation can be created on the following web browsers:
- Microsoft Edge (Chromium) Browser - requires the Extension for Edge
- Google Chrome - requires the Extension for Chrome
The recommended input types are:
- The SimulateType property is recommended for the Type Into activity.
- The SimulateClick property is recommended for the Click activity.
You can automate Salesforce processes by using UI Automation activities coupled with Salesforce specific activities.
