Exploring the user interface

Data Fabric is available in your UiPath® organization as a tenant-level service that must be enabled. For step by step instrustions, refer to Enabling Data Fabric. Once you enable the service, the Data Fabric icon appears in the left rail.

Important: Objects created in Data Fabric are referred to as Entities.

The header displays the following options:

  1. The API Access icon - opens the API access wizard, from where you can copy the OpenAPI link, or download the JSON file.

  2. The Manage Access icon - opens the Administration page, where you can assign or create Data Fabric roles.

  3. TheManage Choice Sets button - opens the Choice Sets page, where you can create and manage choice sets.

  4. The Create New Entity button - opens the Create Entity panel.

  5. The search bar - helps you find a particular entity.

  6. The Import/Export dropdown - allows you to either import an entity schema, or to export the entity schema.

  7. The Use in Studio button - open the documentation page with details on how to import entities in Studio.

  8. The Refresh button - refreshes the current list of entities.

The option to switch the language preference is available from the user menu.
