About licensing

The following information is aimed at helping you understand how UiPath® licenses its software. You can think of a license as an agreement between you and UiPath, authorizing you to use a certain set of functional capabilities in UiPath software.

Our commercial offering provides a flexible variety of licensing SKUs for how to deploy and use UiPath software.

Refer to the UiPath Licensing page for the current list of available SKUs. For Automation Suite, the applicable SKUs are on the Flex Plan tab.

The Unified Pricing licensing model is available starting with Automation Suite 2.2510.0. Unified Pricing introduces enhanced platform plans and user types, providing a consolidated, credit-based approach to license management. The existing Flex licensing model remains supported, and both frameworks operate in parallel.

If you purchase or activate Unified Pricing SKUs, the licenses are automatically converted to their corresponding Flex equivalents. This automatic conversion ensures a smooth transition and allows licenses created under Unified Pricing to be correctly interpreted and activated.

The following table shows the mapping between Unified Pricing SKUs and their Flex equivalents:
