Automation Suite release notes
Release date: December 19, 2023
Red Hat no longer supports RHEL 8.3, 8.4, 8.5, and 8.7. As a result, we have removed them from the list of compatible RHEL versions. We currently support RHEL 8.6 and 8.8, but we recommend using the latter.
If you move from an older Automation Suite version, make sure you use a supported RHEL version before starting the upgrade.

Erratum - added May 20, 2024: Previously, on single-node deployments with in-cluster storage, upgrades from version 2022.4.1 or older would fail at the fabric stage. A
rook-cephmigration issue was causing the failure. The behavior no longer occurs. -
Erratum - added April 19, 2024: We have fixed an issue causing the Prometheus pods to fail to start due to an out-of-memory (OOM) error.

Erratum - added October 11, 2024: In a proxy environment, if the proxy server uses the same port as the TCP port of any other service in the Istio service mesh, such as port 8080, pods cannot communicate with the FQDN. The issue causes the following error:

To avoid CVEs related to Flannel and Calico, we recommend taking the following steps:
- Delete the following Calico and Flannel images:
- image: rancher/hardened-calico, tag: v3.21.4-build20220208
- image: rancher/hardened-flannel, tag: v0.16.1-build20220119

We recommend that you regularly check the deprecation timeline for any updates regarding features that will be deprecated and removed.
