This page describes how to upgrade from your current licensing plan to a more comprehensive plan, as well as what happens when your license expires and it is downgraded.
Upgrading to Basic Trial or Standard Trial
If you are on Unified Pricing and wish to upgrade your licensing plan to Basic Trial or Standard Trial, take the following steps:
Unified Pricing: Upgrading to Basic
If you are on Unified Pricing and wish to upgrade your licensing plan to Basic, follow the steps in Purchasing a plan.
Unified Pricing: Upgrading to Standard and Enterprise
If you are on Unified Pricing and wish to upgrade your licensing plan to Standard or Enterprise, reach out to your UiPath representative. Note that you must provide your Support ID for the request.
Flex: Upgrading to Enterprise
If you are on Flex and wish to upgrade your licensing plan to Enterprise, reach out to your UiPath representative. Note that you must provide your Support ID for the request.
When your trial or paid plan license expires, you are automatically downgraded to the Free licensing plan, and the following changes take place in your organization:
-
Your overall plan benefits return to the ones for the Free plan, which gives access to limited capabilities. Any extra benefits you had from the superior plan are revoked.
Note:For a comprehensive understanding, refer to the following resources:
-
Plan breakdown for a detailed comparison between the benefits offered with the Free plan and those provided with the trial or paid plans at platform level.
-
Product-specific licensing documentation for a detailed comparison between the entitlements offered with the Free plan and those provided with the trial or paid plans. For example, if you want to understand what Orchestrator functionalities you lose access to in the event of a license expiration, refer to the Orchestrator user guide.
-
-
If you had more than one tenant, all tenants and their services are disabled.
You can enable one of your tenants for use. However, once a tenant has been enabled, you cannot enable any other tenants. For details, refer to Enabling tenants.
Note:If you decide to renew your license following a downgrade, you must manually re-enable your tenants.
-
Your license quantities are reduced to those that are included in the Free plan, and a license overallocation message is displayed.
You must adjust the user and service licenses that you have allocated to only use what is available.
