New features

New Show Files button

When working on a local solution, a new Show Files button in the Solution Explorer lets you see solution files stored on disk.

Enable or disable version control for local solutions

You can now enable or disable Git version control via a new toggle in the Version Control panel header.

New Explorer panel menu option

Right-click a cloud solution and select the new Download menu option to download the solution as a .uis file.

View coded workflows

You can open coded workflow projects (.cs files) by selecting them from the Explorer panel. Coded workflow files are displayed in read-only mode with C# syntax highlighting, allowing you to view them directly without switching to Studio Desktop.

Remove project dependencies

You can now remove activity categories directly from the Resource Explorer. Simply expand the Dependencies drop-down menu, right-click the activity category, and select Remove dependency.

Improvements

Persistent panels across projects

Panels in Studio Web now persist when switching between projects, offering you a consistent design experience when working on solutions with multiple project types.

Other improvements

Studio Web can now debug workflows with arguments longer than 10,000 characters.

Bug fixes

  • The Properties panel in an API workflow was empty if the panel was opened previously from a different project type.
  • Query parameters with brackets ([]) did not apply when configuring a Get Record activity in some API workflow projects.
  • Git checkout and discard operations sometimes triggered unexpected warning messages, page reloads, and saved files with outdated content.
  • Unmodified files incorrectly appeared as modified in some solutions connected to Git.
  • Output variable names set in If and Try Catch activities were unexpectedly changed to default names after running some API workflow projects.
  • The variable suggestions window covered the activity input field it was triggered from.

New features

New Solution Explorer options

You can now duplicate projects within solutions by right-clicking a project in the Solution Explorer and selecting the new Duplicate context menu option.

Additionally, you can publish individual RPA workflow projects and app projects by using the new Publish project option.

Solutions linked to Automation Hub business processes

You can now see if a solution is linked to an Automation Hub business process directly from the Properties panel. This link makes the process map available in the Process Repository in Automation Hub, connecting the solution with its related business process. To learn more about the Process Repository, refer to the Automation Hub user guide.

Improvements

Improved Issues panel

The Issues panel has been enhanced as the Health Analyzer panel, enabling you to filter discovered issues by scope, severity, or quality area. For more information, refer to Designing solutions.

Sorting solutions in the Cloud Workspace and Local Workspace pages by the time they were last edited did not work as expected.
