Solutions user guide
Overview
The Deployments sidebar provides a contextual view of a solution's deployment directly from the Deployments tab. It lets you inspect various details of a deployment, as well as manage it to ensure your solution is working properly.
The sidebar title shows the deployment name in the format Deployment: [name]. Below it, you can see the package version with a Latest badge if the installed version is the most recently published one, and the package author.
The body of the sidebar shows the most recent operation (for example, Edit configuration or Install), its progress through the workflow stages, the solution folder path (clickable, to navigate to the folder in Orchestrator), and the operation outcome with elapsed time.
Expanding the Deployments sidebar
To expand the Deployments sidebar, do the following:
- Navigate to Orchestrator > Solutions.
- Select the Deployments tab.
- From the list, select a solution deployment.
The Deployments sidebar opens on the right side of the screen and remains in context while you browse deployment information.
If your deployment is successfully installed and activated, you can select Deployment details from the Deployment logs, and navigate directly to the Deployments sidebar.
Managing a deployment from the sidebar
The actions available in the sidebar depend on the state of the deployment.
| Deployment state | Available actions |
|---|---|
| Active — no pending draft | Go to folder (primary), Edit, Uninstall |
| Active — Draft row selected | Continue editing (primary), Go to folder, Delete draft |
| Inactive (Ready to activate) | Activate deployment (primary), Go to folder, Edit, Uninstall |
| Inactive (Needs setup to activate) | Set up activation (primary), Go to folder, Edit, Uninstall |
| In progress | No actions available |
Active deployment
The sidebar for an active deployment (no pending draft) shows the Go to folder, Edit, and Uninstall actions.
Draft deployment
When you select a Draft row, the sidebar reflects the pending operation and shows Continue editing, Go to folder, and Delete draft.
On the Resources tab, you can also view a list of all components included in your solutions, whether it's a process, connection, trigger, asset, MCP server, or storage bucket.
Navigating the History tab
The History tab displays a list of all operations performed on the deployment. Each entry shows the operation name (for example, Edit configuration or Install), the package version it ran on, the elapsed time since it ran, and a visual stages indicator showing how far the operation progressed.
