Last updated Oct 29, 2025
Instead of using a reference field, you can use a static value to calculate the field values. This static value or constant remains the same throughout the expression.
With a constant, you can enter a value used for the calculation of the expression. The following table describes the available types of constants.
| Constant | Description |
|
 | A string of characters. |
|
 | A numerical value with decimal precision. |
|
 | A a ratio or a fraction of 100. |
|
 | A monetary amount. |
|
 | A span of time. |
|
 | A specific date. |
Follow these steps to add a constant:
-
Drag and drop a constant to the applicable logic block on the canvas.
-
Enter the desired value for the constant.
